
TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines — At least 21 individuals, four of them minors, were injured following a vehicular collision along a curved section of the road in Barangay Libas, Lavezares, Northern Samar, on Thursday afternoon, April 2.
According to a report from the Police Regional Office (PRO-8), the incident occurred at 2:20 p.m. but was reported about 20 minutes later.
Responding officers immediately proceeded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
Initial findings revealed that a red Toyota Vios, driven by a 51-year-old man identified as “Raul,” a resident of Barangay Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar, was traveling from Lavezares town proper en route to Allen, also in the same province.
The vehicle was carrying five passengers, the youngest of whom was a 14-year-old girl. All were residents of Allen, Northern Samar.
